- Enrollment Information for New and Continuing Families
New Students
Applicable Grade and Age Placement:
- Pre-School
Pre-Nursery: 14 months ~ 24 month
Nursery I : 2 yrs by 31 August
Nursery II: 3 yrs by 31 August
KG I: 4 years by 31 August
KG 2: 5 years by 31 August
Primary School (Level 1 to Level 6)
- Middle School: Cambridge Pre-IGCSE/Check Point for 2 Years
- High School: Cambridge IGCSE Upper Level (3 years/ 2 years) and A Level
- Boarding Facilities: From Cambridge IGCSE Upper Level 1, boarding is compulsory. However, depending on the boarding space available, lower grade students may be permitted to be accepted into the boarding facilities.
Application Fee:
GHS 500 (Non-refundable)
Payable at any CAL Bank branch to the GIU International Christian Academy account. Attach the payment slip or transaction proof to the online application.

📍 Venue: GIU International Christian Academy Campus
Note: Late arrivals will not be permitted to sit for the exam.
Entrance Assessments by Level
- Pre-Nursery to Nursery 1 (18–24 months): Developmental Readiness Assessment
- Montessori Kindergarten (Ages 3–5): Literacy, Numeracy & Life Skills
- Primary School (Cambridge Curriculum): English & Mathematics
- Pre-IGCSE: English, Math, Science & French
- IGCSE: English, Math, Combined Science, French & Critical Thinking
- A-Level: Applicants may apply now and submit IGCSE/O Level results when available. Interviews will follow the result evaluation.

- Special Notes for Admissions
- Upper IGCSE Admissions: Applicants must have completed JHS 3 (BECE), Lower IGCSE, or American Grade 9.
- Transfer Students: Submit current academic reports, testimonials, and evidence of past tuition payments. Placement depends on entrance assessment.
- Home School Students: Submit academic records. Placement will be based on assessment and evaluation.
📝 If a student is younger than the age requirement but has completed the academic level, transcript submission and satisfactory exam results are required for consideration.
